DIRECTIONS FROM TURIN AIRPORT TO
SERRE CHEVALIER SKI  RESORT

(the toll prices are as of 05 May 2002)

1. Leaving  the airport you’ll find yourself on a dual carriageway.
   Take exit indicated “autostrade - tangenziale” (motorway).
   You need to take the Frejus direction  (NOT Milan) on this motorway.
2. Stay on this motorway,
   first toll (0.80 euros) does not accept credit cards.
   second toll (3.10 euros).
   you’ll go through many tunnels, the last one being “Serre la voute”
   third toll (4.00 euros)
3. You have to pay attention now.
   Take the exit SS24 Monginevro (Italian for Montgenèvre). This exit is also for Claviere and Sestriere.
   Once you’ve left the motorway you need to follow signs for Monginevro / Claviere.
4. From here you’ll climb the mountain pass “Col de Montgenèvre” (a few nice hairpins!). Just after the village of Claviere you’ll cross the border into France. After Montgenèvre you’ve got some more classic mountain road driving to do while you descend into Briançon (Serre Chevalier 1200).
